Dear Littlehampton Squash Club held it's tournament finals and presentation evening on Saturday and the results were: Open Final - Phil Stacey beat Phil Wood 3 - 1 to retain his title. Phil Wood won the first game and went 8 - 3 up in the 2nd so it looked like an upset could be on the cards but then Phil Stacey got his game together and won the 2nd game 10 - 8 and then the next 2 comfortably Handicap Final - The handicap difference of 22 points proved too great for Phil Stacey and he lost to junior Chris O'Neil, 2 - 0. Junior Final - a very entertaining game with Chris O'Neil beating James Klanckowski, 3 - 0 Doubles Final - Phil Stacey and Phil Wood beat Steve Slaughter and Mark Simpson, 3 - 0 Open Plate final - Ashley Squires bear Stuart Smith, 3 - 0 Handicap Plate Final - Ashley Squires beat junior Joe Bridgeman, 2 - 1 1st team player of the season - Phil Stacey 2nd team player of the season - Mark Simpson Kind regards Ali LewisLittlehampton Badminton and Squash Club | LITTLEHAMPTON BADMINTON AN SQUASH CLUB | | | SQUASH FIXTURES | | 2009-2010 |
