N.B. Car parking is only available during the hire period and to those who need to set up prior to the event. Please be aware that the club is open for use by members and their guests during club opening times. Littlehampton Badminton & Squash ClubTERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE · NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS, SOFT DRINKS OR FOOD TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE CLUBHOUSE UNLESS THE CLUB IS UNABLE TO MEET REQUIREMENTS AND ONLY THEN BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. · IN THE EVENT THAT THE MANAGER/DEPUTY IS NOT PRESENT, THE HIRER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GOOD ORDER AND BEHAVIOUR OF ATTENDEES. · A LIST OF VISITORS ATTENDING SHOULD BE GIVEN TO BAR STAFF. · NOT TO PERMIT EXCESSIVE NOISE DURING THE EVENT AND WHEN LEAVING THE PREMISES - FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN THE CESSATION OF THE EVENT AND EVACUATION OF THOSE PRESENT. MEMBERS RISK DISCIPLINARY ACTION OR EXPULSION. · A MINIMUM OF 10% DEPOSIT TO BE PAID AT TIME OF BOOKING PLUS £100 HOLDING CHEQUE £250 ( FOR CLUB & COURT HIRE) IN CASE OF DAMAGES · PAYMENT OF FUNCTION MUST BE MADE IN FULL 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE EVENT. IF BOOKING IS MADE WITH LESS THAN 30 DAYS NOTICE THEN FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING. · ALL WASTE/LITTER TO BE BAGGED UP FOR DISPOSAL WHERE APPROPRIATE. · FACILITY TO BE LEFT IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT WAS FOUND. · UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT, BAR CLOSES AT 11:00 PM AND PREMISES MUST BE VACATED BY 11:30 PM. · DEPOSITS ONLY REFUNDABLE AGAINST CANCELLATION IF MINIMUM TEN DAYS NOTICE AND A VALID REASON FOR CANCELLATION GIVEN. Kitchen Hire Conditions · PLEASE ENSURE KITCHEN & EQUIPMENT USED, IS CLEANED & STORED IN CORRECT PLACE/CUPBOARDS · NOTIFY THE OFFICE OF ANY EQUIPMENT FAILURE, REPAIRS NEEDED OR COMPLAINT · ENSURE ALL NECESSARY ELECTRICAL SOCKETS/SWITCHES ARE TURNED OFF EXCEPT FOR MAINS SOCKET TO OVEN, FRIDGE & FREEZER · PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PREPARING LARGE QUANTITIES OF FRIED FOOD, DUE TO ABSENCE OF EXTRACTOR. · ANY FOOD PREPARED FOR CONSUMPTION AT FUNCTION, MUST NOT BE LEFT OUT FOR MORE THAN 4 HOURS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE (1 HOUR FOR COOKED MEAT). PLEASE ENSURE STRICT MONITORING OF THIS. · PLEASE SUPPLY A COPY OF CURRENT FOOD HYGIENCE CERTIFICATE WITH HIRE FORM & SPECIFYING NAMED PERSON PREPARING FOOD. · SUPPLY DETAILS OF ANY CATERING FIRM USED. N.B.Following all the above as a strict guidance for best practice, Littlehampton Badminton & Squash Club will not be held personally responsible for any outbreak of food poisoning N.B. damage to the fabric of building and/or surrounding areas will be costed and deducted from the holding cheque. Any additional costs over and above this amount, will be charged to the hirer or the organisation concerned.
